| Main Card Bouts: -Urijah Faber (#1 Featherweight in the World)* vs. Mike Brown (#6 Featherweight in the World)* -Paulo Filho (#3 Middleweight in the World)* vs. Chael Sonnen -Jens Pulver vs. Leonard Garcia
Preliminary Bouts: -Yoshiro Maeda vs. Rani Yahya -Rob McCullough vs. Donald Cerrone -Jose Aldo vs. Jonathan Brookins -Carmelo Marrero vs. Steve Steinbeiss -Danny Castillo vs. Rafael Dias -Jake Rosholt vs. Nissen Osterneck -Johny Hendricks vs. Alex Serdyukov -David Avellan vs. Aaron Simpson
BTW - I predicted the following over a year ago while talking to my brother.
http://sherdog.com/news/articles/wecs-road-ahead-15016
"The clattering thud you’ll hear shortly after the conclusion of Wednesday’s World Extreme Cagefighting 36 card is likely to be the deposit of the organization’s middleweight championship belt -- to be contested by Chael Sonnen against Paulo Filho -- into the nearest garbage can.
In September, the promotion announced that it would be euthanizing both its 185-pound and 205-pound classes in an effort to focus more on the trimmer weight divisions, a charge headed by the personable (and generously chinned) Urijah Faber. "

| Fucking Paulo misses weight by 7 fucking lbs? Dude needs to get his head on straight or he is gonna get rolled up in UFC. He is a definite world class athlete, but come on. I know his belt is worthless now, but still athletes of his caliber should get up for fights like this. Especially when the outcome was left in doubt the last time.
So, not it is a catch-weight non-title bout. Filho's corner says they will give up the belt if he loses.

Chael Sonnen is boring as hell, hes too cautious. Man, i don't think it was that. I think he was soooo pissed about what was going on, that he couldn't think straight. Filho didn't exactly give him much to work with.

Yea, i would've liked to have seen that too, but honestly i don't think Filho would have won on the ground either. Something is very wrong with that fucking guy. He was staring off into the crown for half the damn fight. 7lbs over when you know about the fight for months? What the FUCK? Something going on with ole Paulo. Hope he gets it corrected, but very off right now.
